सोनू त्यागी ने कहा, “मुंबई होस्टेज कांड में रोहित आर्य जैसे मानसिक रूप से अस्थिर व्यक्ति ने आर्थिक संकट और मानसिक तनाव में 17 बच्चों को स्टूडियो में बंधक बना लिया और अंततः पुलिस मुठभेड़ में मारा गया। यह घटना दर्शाती है कि व्यक्तिगत निराशा किस तरह पूरे समाज को खतरे में डाल सकती है। बेंगलुरु में सात साल की बच्ची की हत्या – सिर्फ इसलिए कि वह एक व्यक्ति की ‘प्राइवेसी’ में बाधा डाल रही थी – मानवीय संवेदना के खत्म होने की भयावह मिसाल है। वहीं एक दंपति द्वारा मामूली सड़क विवाद पर गुस्से में डिलीवरी एजेंट को कार से कुचल देना, और फिर सबूत मिटाने लौट आना – यह दिखाता है कि छोटी–सी झुंझलाहट किस तरह घातक हिंसा में बदल सकती है। राजा रघुवंशी केस, जिसमें पत्नी पर हनीमून के तुरंत बाद हत्या की साजिश रचने का आरोप है, हमारे रिश्तों में छिपे असत्य और मानसिक अस्थिरता की कीमत को उजागर करता है।”

New Delhi, India – August 13, 2025 – Go Spiritual, a leading charitable spiritual organization dedicated to promoting philanthropy, spiritual awareness, and animal welfare, today expressed deep concern over the Supreme Court of India’s recent ruling mandating the roundup and permanent detention of stray dogs in New Delhi. While recognizing the court’s efforts to address public safety amid rising incidents of dog attacks, Go Spiritual advocates for humane, non-violent solutions that align with India’s spiritual heritage of compassion and respect for all living beings. 

The Supreme Court’s order, issued on Monday, calls for all stray dogs in the capital to be captured and housed in shelters within eight weeks, citing failures in existing Animal Birth Control (ABC) programs. This decision follows tragic cases, including the death of a 6-year-old girl from rabies in July. However, Go Spiritual warns that permanent detention without adequate resources could lead to animal suffering and contradicts principles of Ahimsa (non-violence).

The crackdown, announced by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB), targets platforms violating the Information Technology Act, 2000, and IT Rules, 2021, by hosting sexually explicit material that undermines India’s cultural and moral values. 

“This is a monumental step toward safeguarding our society from the harmful impact of explicit and morally degrading content,” said Sonu Tyagi. “The government’s action sends a powerful message that India’s digital space will not be a breeding ground for obscenity or cultural sabotage. As content creators, we have a responsibility to inspire, educate, and uplift audiences, not exploit them for sensationalism.” 

The banned platforms were found to host content lacking narrative value, promoting nudity, and targeting younger audiences, posing risks to adolescent mental health. The MIB’s report highlighted violations of laws such as the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986, and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, with platforms failing to adhere to the IT Rules’ Code of Ethics.
